Parameters to control ratlab operation. These parameters are not part of the network/rat/environment model, but rather control how it is run. The folowing is a direct copy of the on-line help.
netTimestep timestep (ms) used in integrate-and-fire
networks
TRatByTUser seconds of rat time registered
per second of user interaction
ratMovingClock run the rat clock whenever it is moving
generating events which must be digested by the network
kbdTimestep timestep(ms) used for moving rats with
continuous keyboard input
refreshRate number of screen redraws per second
(may slow the calculation down if set too high)
activity select how the rat(s) move - randomly,
dragged by the mouse(!
controlled by their own
networks or following predefined trajectories.
This setting may be overridden in individual rats.
inputBuffer volume (Mb) of sensory input allowed to
pile up before the world is temporarily frozen for
the network to catch up
dtHistory interval (ms) between saved history records
- total time is set in RatLab
keepWeights record synaptic weights at each spike
- used in gridView display
realtime when running a trajectory, run it no faster
than real time, even if the calculation could be done
more quickly
memRecord history time to keep in memory available
for immediate playback
