Components And Tools for Accessible COmputer Modeling in Biology

Catacomb2 is a workbench for building virtual cells and networks and for testing their behavior in virtual environments. It includes components for constructing models ranging from ion channels and synapses to levers and food dispensers. It also has a selection of virtual lab equipment for running experiments and analyzing the results.

Examples of models built with Catacomb2. These begin with the constituents of a single cell and work up to complete networks.
The Reference Manual. This has concise descriptions of each component and window. These pages are what you get if you select "help" on a particular object within the program.
A summary of the graphics functions. Most graphs and diagrams can be zoomed and rescaled in a variety of ways. This explains exactly what a mouse click in a particular position will do.
