This machine (icf or laura) is not really equipped to be an archive. However, the most up-to-date information about the Yorick program is kept here. The wuarchive site mirrors this site; if you can get to it, please do so; the comments about not using this site as an archive in what follows may not apply if you are not actually using icf or laura to retrieve the files. If you want to try Yorick, please download it from one of these sites: wuarchive.wustl.edu: /languages/yorick/yorick-1.x.tar.gz sunsite.unc.edu: /pub/Linux/apps/math/matrix/yorick-1.x.tar.gz netlib.att.com: /netlib/env/yorick-1.x.tar.gz netlib2.cs.utk.edu: /env/yorick-1.x.tar.gz The /pub/Linux directory also contains a binary release for Linux. This directory contains the latest version of Yorick; if this differs non-trivially from the archived versions, I'll say so here: The latest version of Yorick is 1.4, which I will try not to modify. The MacIntosh version by Steve Langer is available in the macintosh directory here; the new Windows NT/95 version will appear here soon. The files are all in MacBinary format. Do not download them unless you are sure you want the Mac Yorick; hopefully it will appear on sumex-aim.stanford.edu and its mirrors soon; see yorick-ANNOUNCE. The contrib directory contains Yorick include files which are not part of the distribution. As long as these stay small, you don't need to worry so much about downloading them from here.
