Spine compartmentalization. There is a square pulse conductance input to the head of the spine. Click the G marker to get the details. Recorders are placed on the head of the spine, down its neck, and out along the main process. Click the right button a few times on the diagram to see the rest of it. You can narrow the spine neck by holding a point with the right mouse button and dragging the mouse down. You can also change the membrane capacitance and cytoplasmic resistance, R-cyt to work out under what electrical and morphological conditions the spine head might be electrically independent.
